Argon M4 - Bruiser

Postby Deadly » Thu Jan 15, 2009 6:30 am

Edit: OK, this one is now set as the Argon M4. I'll get some in-game pix at some point.

Assuming the Starfury is reallocated to the Argon as a "hot" M4+ (and renamed?) this is one that might work as an M4.

It's a model I've been playing with for quite some time. I was trying for an "industrial" look...tough and ugly, like a junk-yard dog.

Here are a few pix for you to look over. Once in-game, the arched "sheets" over the top & bottom of the engine bay are see-through grids.

If you dock a bunch of these at a station, do their noses touch, or no? I.e., rather wide anterior superstructure..

As an M3 or M3+, it seems she could mount a turret on her stern..and one or more under her forward superstructure..

With her boxy, 'industrial' look, she might also make a good M8; although the Charon M3+ would probably be a better choice..

How about the Argon Defender M3? I'll propose specs for her when I get a chance. I see her as either: a) fast, but not terribly manueverable, with avg shielding, huge weapons generator; or b) slower, but very well-shielded, very tough hull.
